-1356- JOSEPH, b. 3 May 1841; d. in Los Angeles, Ca. 24 Oct. 1901, ae 60, a woodworker. He was a member of Co. G. 10th Maine Regt. in the Civil War; after the war he settled in Iowa and m. Mary E. Kindred, a resident of Clinton, Iowa, b. in Nova Scotia 8 June 1849; d. in Los Angeles 2 Aug. 1934, ae 85. They left Iowa and at the 1880 census were living in Red Bluff, Tehama City. Ca. Later on they settled in Los Angeles. (1900 census).
