Cook, b. in Casco in 1848; d. in Portland, Me. 6 Jan. 1876, ae 27; he settled in Iowa ca 1876 and m. there in 1877, Alice C. Cook, a sister-in-law; b. in Casco 26 May 1854; d. in Ponoma 2 May 1927, ae 72. In the 1900 census he was listed as a resident of Ashland, Neb. and a horse trainer. In the very early 1900's they settled in California, and he was a salesman of wholesale steel and wire.
