(1) int. 12 Sept. 1864 Jane Phinney of Rochester, NY, a Civil War nurse whom he met while in the Army; she was b. 1819; d. 26 Feb. 1888, ae 69; he m. (2) 3 Nov. 1888 Mrs. Hannah (Nutting) Parker, divorcee, b. in Otisfield 14 Oct. 1833; d. there 18 May 1909, ae 75. No children.

-1325- SYRENA ELIZABETH, b. Bolsters Mills, Me. 28 Dec. 1832; d. 18 Jan. 1913, ae 80; m. in Otisfield 2 Oct. 1854 Thomas Weston, b. in Otisfield 25 Nov. 1827. They lived in Boston, Ma. where he d. 29 Nov. 1882, ae 55, a teamster, 'kicked by a horse, a fractured skull'.

-1326- STEPHEN L., b. 17 Feb. 1840; d. in Otisfield 19 June 1914, ae 74; m. 30 Aug. 1871 Mary E. Malcon of Auburn, Me., b. 17 Mar. 1839; d. 8 Aug. 1916, ae 79. No children. He was a fine violinist and composer, and played for dances for many years. He worked as a house and carriage painter.
