-247- AMOS, b. 27 Sept. 1758; d. in Durham, Me. 28 Aug. 1831, ae 73; m. 23 Jan. 1784 a cousin Elizabeth (263) b. 30 Dec. 1765, daughter of Henry (90) and Mehitable (Sawyer) Knight. She d. in May 1836, ae 71. He was a revolutionary soldier. In 1816 he bought 50 acres of land in Durham, and he and his wife are buried on his farm there.

S. Huston. b. in Falmouth 12 Dec. 1767; d. in Otisfield 12 Sept. 1850, ae 81. He was a blacksmith and moved to Otisfield in March 1792. His first house was built of logs and stood in a field some distance from the road; afterwards he built a frame house on the road.

-250- NATHAN, b. ca 1765, living in 1789. No other information at hand.

ISSUE OF MARK (89) AND MARGARET(JOHNSON) KNIGHT - all were b. in Falmouth, Me.

-251- JONATHAN, b. ca 1759; d. in Windham, Me. 19 Nov. 1837, ae 78, a farmer; m. 12 Nov. 1786 Sarah W. Pettengill of Windham, b. 1761; d. 29 June 1839, ae 78. He served in the Revolution, enlisted in May 1778 and served in Capt. Partridge's Company, Col. Greaton's Mass. Regt. and in Capt. Woodbridge's Company, same regt. and was discharged 23 Dec. 1783. Be was allowed a pension on his application executed 13 May 1818. In the 1790 census he was listed as of Otisfield, but shortly moved to Windham.
