After the war, he was in Newburyport, Ma. where he m. 3 Feb. 1788 Elizabeth Bayley, b. in Bradford, Ma. 9 Jan. 1762. They were living in Fryeburg, Me. in 1790. and later on, in Windham, NH They spent their later years in Salisbury, Ma. where he d. 28 Apr. 1832, ae 72; she d. there 11 Apr. 1847, ae 85.

(2) Rebecca Blake, b. ca 1762; d. 23 Feb. 1846, ae 84. He was a soldier in his father's company in the Revolution. He lived on his father's homestead in Portland.

-246- ZEBULON, b. 29 Nov. 1756; d. in Otisfield, Me. 28 Oct. 1828, ae 71; m. 25 Oct. 1781 his second cousin, Sarah, (255) b. in Falmouth 25 May 1764, daughter of Mark (89) and Margaret (Johnson) Knight. She d. 17 Dec. 1834, ae 70. He was a drummer in Capt. Tobias Lord's Company in the Revolution in 1776. He came to Otisfield in 1778 before he was married, moved his family there in 1782 and settled on the west side of Saturday Pond. He had a potash kettle set and made potash, used in making fertilizers and soaps.
