-156- THOMAS, b. 30 Oct. 1737. He was in the militia in the French and Indian War, and was captured by the French at the surrender of Ft. William Henry, NY in Aug. 1757; was transported to France as a prisoner of war, where he d. 'middle of Feb. 1758', ae 20.
