-139- JOSHUA, b. 25 Jan. 1734; d. before 1805; m. in Falmouth, int. 10 Nov. 1761 Abigail Merrill of Newbury, b. 26 May 1737; d. in Falmouth Dec. 1811, ae 74. (Her death reported in the Eastern Argus of Jan. 2, 1812). The census of 1790 lists two sons and a daughter, all under 16; evidently the children predeceased him. 'Child of Joshua d. at Alfred, Me. 1799', as on 10 Nov. 1805 Amos and Joseph Knight sold to Simon Davis a tract of land in Falmouth 'being land which descended to us together with our brother George Knight, as heirs to the estate of our brother Joshua.' The names of the three children are unknown, but are given the numbers of (408), (409) and (410).
-140- AMOS, b. 7 Apr. 1737; d. in Falmouth in July 1818, ae 81; m. 26 March 1760 Ann Sawyer, b. 8 Apr. 1740. They lived in Falmouth. He served in the Revolution in Capt. William Crocker's Company.
