-99- JOHN, A., b. in Deering, Me. in 1747; d. in Windham, Me. 10 July 1834, ae 85; m. 16 April 1778 Keziah Norrill, b. 19 Nov. 1759; d. 16 Jan. 1821, ae 61. They settled in Windham, near Dutton Hill, in 1788, building a log house. He was a bricklayer by trade, and had a brickyard on the banks of Pleasant River; also he built the first mill at Huston's Falls, sometime before 1793. He and his wife had 18 children, but four of them 'died young', and were not named on the family record.
