Ma. 23 Aug. 19019 ae 61. He grad. from Yale Univ. 1862 and Harvard Medical School 1866, studied abroad in Vienna and Berlin 1871-72, was a professor of laryngology at Harvard
1888-92. and a consultant at Mass. General Hoop. thereafter. He was a noted physician in his specialty, diseases of the throat and chest. and was a pioneer in the early days of the war against tuberculosis.
